The Department of Neurology is searching for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to provide patient care along with instructing current medical students, residents, and fellows within the discipline of Neurology. The Department of Neurology provides clinical services to the community of NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all types of neurological disorders. An important aspect of the mission of the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is educating medical students, residents, and fellows though advanced training programs in neurology. Being fully equipped with award-winning faculty members, the department remains as innovators in neurologic education. The Department of Neurology actively engages in clinical research programs related to various neurological disorders such as movement disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis.
Responsibilities:
• Provides direct patient care in neurology; instructs medical students and residents in the discipline of Neurology; participates in conferences, conducts, and develops research grants and proposals..
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
