The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Arizona–Tucson is seeking a visionary and highly motivated anesthesiologist. This position will play a strategic role within a rapidly growing and innovating transplant institute that is poised to become a national leader in abdominal organ transplantation. As a Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist, you will be part of a collaborative effort to grow the Liver Transplant program that is the sole provider of liver transplants in the greater Tucson Metropolitan Area. Working closely with a highly skilled transplant team including world-class surgeons, hepatologists, intensivists, and allied specialists, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team to build a world class transplant program at Banner University Tucson Medical Center and drive initiatives in enhanced recovery, perioperative safety, and innovation in transplant anesthesia. You will engage in mentorship, education, and academic contributions within the College of Medicine and join an energetic anesthesia department with vibrant training programs and exceptional opportunities for professional growth.
