Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Fellowship-trained in Interventional Endoscopy
  • Additional training in Obesity Medicine and/or certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 10 years of post-fellowship clinical experience, ideally in an academic or high-volume tertiary care setting
  • Demonstrated leadership within multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to advancing patient care through innovative endoscopic techniques
  • Strong academic track record, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and experience mentoring trainees
  • Experience with clinical research, including participation in or leadership of clinical trials and/or success in securing research funding
  • Dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is a premier multi-specialty medical group made up of over 200 physicians practicing in the greater San Francisco service area. SWBMG works in partnership with Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation (SPMF), a non-profit organization providing care through its affiliation with SWBMG.
