- Cannon Memorial Hospital (Critical Access Hospital) with a 10-bed Emergency Department and 10 inpatient beds

- Physician- led scheduling:
- Watauga: 8–9-hour shifts
- Cannon: 12-hour shifts
- Annual ED Volume:
- Watauga: ~25,000 visits
- Cannon: ~8,500 visits
- 7 full-time physicians; 2 full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- In-House Coverage (24/7):
- OB, Hospitalists, Pediatrics
