Job Summary

Novant Health Pender Medical Center is seeking a Hospitalist to join their growing team! Come practice rural medicine in eastern North Carolina, where you'll make a true impact in the community while enjoying a supportive team and welcoming environment.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Inpatient Care

• Adults only with general Med/Surg capacity

• S ix intermediate beds

• Four bed open ICU to open within the next 9-12 months

• Full spectrum internal medicine with procedures

• Tele-ICU and tele-pulmonology support 24/7

• Be a part of building a broad spectrum inpatient service at a critical access hospital

• Procedural support and on-boarding offered

• Expanding tele-services

• All inpatient beds wired

• Practice rural medicine with the flexibility of living near the coast

Candidate Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Med-Peds

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Rounding and admitting

• Day shift, 7 on/ 7 off with other provider
