UNC Endocrinology at Chatham Park is hiring a Physician (MD/DO) for a part-time position (20 hours per week)!

UNC Physicians Network’s goal is to treat our patients like family by providing the highest quality of care and treatment. We are looking for a physician that embodies that philosophy! Our team in Endocrinology specializes in the following:

· Thyroid and Parathyroid disorders

· Adrenal and Pituitary diseases

· Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

· Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

· Metabolic Bone Diseases and Osteoporosis

Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

Position Specifics:

· Hours will be split between Siler City and Pittsboro locations

    Job Qualifications:

    • Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
    • Board certified Endocrinology required
    • NC State License preferred
    • FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required
    • New graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Must be eligible for credentialing

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
● Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Endocrinology.
