Neurohospitalist Opportunity in San Antonio, Texas

Baptist Health System is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurohospitalist to practice in San Antonio, Texas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Neurology practice at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital with a highly skilled team, developed in 2015. As one of South Texas' largest healthcare provider organizations, Baptist Medical Network's team of over 250 providers provide care in over 17 communities.  

Overview:

  • 100% Inpatient setting; St. Luke's Baptist Hospital is the Comprehensive Stroke Program and the Hub for Neuroscience Services
  • Offering 2 Primary Plus facilities, 3 Primary Stroke facilities under the hub at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital
  • Call- Telestroke split for the month
  • EMR: Athena (clinic), Cerner (hospital)
  • Must be BC/BE in Neurology by the ABPN
  • EEG reading and interpretation and continuous EEG
  • Must be comfortable with Acute Stroke Managment
