Anesthesiologist – UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center (Culpeper, VA)

UVA Health is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologists to join our new in-house team at Culpeper Medical Center. This is a great opportunity to practice in a supportive community hospital with the resources of a leading health system.

Position Highlights

• Flexible block scheduling (7 on/7 off, 14 on/14 off, or similar)

• Inpatient-focused with occasional APP oversight

• Access to specialty support in surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and OB/GYN

• Call schedule: Minimal Call

• Epic EMR

• Community hospital setting (51–100 beds; ~2,250–2,500 annual cases)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $450K–$525K

• Sign-on bonus (negotiable) + relocation assistance

• CME: $6,000 + time off

• Vacation: 10 weeks

Candidate Requirements

• MD/DO; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

• 2026/2027 graduates welcome

• J1 and H1b visas accepted

• Must live within 20 miles of practice (per bylaws)
