About this role:
Opportunity for an experienced OB/GYN physician to join our Obstetric Hospitalist program at LDS Hospital, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our OB Hospitalists provide care for unassigned patients and coordinate follow-up care. They render services to patients who deliver precipitously or have emergency obstetric conditions that require STAT obstetric care. In a 24-hour shift, the OB Hospitalist can expect to participate in 2-3 deliveries. On a limited basis, this position will include caring for unassigned GYN non-surgical and unstable patients in the Emergency Department.
LDS Hospital is home to a 12-bed labor & delivery unit, averaging just under 2,000 deliveries annually. Level II NICU and MFM clinic on site, we also have MFM & Neonatologist support available via telehealth 24/7. Anesthesiologist on site 24/7.
