Job Highlights

  • Interventional Radiology-focused role with diverse procedural mix
  • Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 210 shifts annually
  • Call: ~1 overnight every 3 weeks (rare in-person emergencies)
  • 10 remote diagnostic weekends annually
  • Part-time, partner-track, and associate options available
  • 8–10 patient-facing procedures per day
  • Built-in subspecialty support (MSK, Neuro, Pediatrics)

Clinical Scope

  • Core IR procedures: PICC lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, LPs, myelograms, arthrograms, abscess drainage, nephrostomy and biliary procedures, fluoroscopy
  • Preferred (not required): kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, pain management procedures
  • Collaborative model with shared expertise for complex cases

Work Environment & Flexibility

  • Primarily onsite IR with hybrid elements (remote Dx weekends)
  • Predictable weekday schedule + limited overnight disruption
  • Subspecialty readers available for higher acuity cases
  • Practice model supports balanced workload and physician collaboration

Qualifications

  • MD or DO, residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training or integrated training in Interventional Radiology
  • Board eligible/certified (ABR or AOBR)
  • Licensed or eligible in Tennessee and Kentucky
  • Fellows and residents encouraged to apply
