The Hospitals of Providence East Campus is a 218-bed hospital that features an 18-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a 10-bed Labor & Delivery Unit, 3 C-section rooms, and a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit. In addition, the facility has 150 adult beds in its Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, Orthopedic/Neurosurgery, and Progressive Care Units.
The Hospitals of Providence East Campus Surgical Services features eight operating rooms, four endoscopy rooms, and a Pre-Operative Testing Center to meet a range of surgical specialties.
Since opening in 2008, we have continuously expanded our facilities and services to meet the growing needs of Far East El Paso. Our $20 million investment project significantly expanded the hospitals capacity in several areas including:
- A 30-bed Progressive Care Unit
- A third Catheterization Lab equipped with biplane technology
- An additional 6-beds to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Private area and triage rooms for Obstetrics Emergency Services
- An additional operating room within Women’s Services to expand obstetric care
The East Campus Emergency Room offers a higher level of emergency care. From non-life-threatening emergencies to life’s most critical circumstances, our 38-bed emergency room provides an advanced array of specialties 24/7. With the pursuit of a Level II Trauma Center Designation, East Campus is dedicated to providing specialized emergency care close to home.
The Hospitals of Providence Weight Loss Center East provides bariatric patients with a multidisciplinary team approach, specially designed to meet all the needs of a bariatric patient in one convenient location. We offer Gastric Bypass and Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy procedures with a focus on long-term health including access to resources before and after surgery.
