Job Summary:
Physician: Emergency Medicine/Family Practice/Internal Medicine
Qualifications:
- Physicians will have completed an undergraduate program, medical school (M.D. or D.O), Internship, and Residency program.
- Valid unrestricted medical license in at least 1 state, territory, or commonwealth of the U.S. and will at a minimum be board eligible.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- All Healthcare Providers and medical support staff must have a recent clinical experience in patient care for a least 6 months out of the past year.
- Experience in both Hospital and Ambulatory Pharmacy and expertise in both outpatient and inpatient drug therapies.
- Must hold and maintain board certification as defined in the scope referenced above:
- American Board of Family Medicine Specialists (ABFM or ABMS)
- American Board of Emergency Medicine Specialists (ABEM)
- American Board of Internal Medicine Specialists (ABIM)
- Must have and maintain current certification:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- DEA License
- 3 years minimum as a US licensed attending Physician is required with additional training and/or experience in GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric, and trauma emergency also required.
- Must hold a current and unrestricted US State Medical License. State licenses must be in good standing, without restrictions, and kept current through the period of employment.
- Must be current in all required certifications.
- A normal workweek is established by the Program Manager.
- Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver’s License.
- Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
- Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense.
