Physician Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- Be within 7 years of graduation
- Or 2 years prior hospitalist experience
NP/PA Qualifications:
- Board Certified as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- 2 years prior hospitalist experience

Smyth County Community Hospital, includes a 44-bed acute care hospital, a 109-bed nursing care facility, and a variety of outreach programs. There are more than 50 physicians serving on its active medical staff.
