Practice Endocrinology minutes from the #1 beach in the nation - Sarasota, Florida

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking to employ an Endocrinologist to join a collaborative group located in the highly desirable area of Sarasota, Florida.

Sarasota is located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa and 1.5 hours north of Fort Myers on the West Coast of Florida. The area is known for its nationally recognized schools, arts & cultural events, great restaurants, and minutes from the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key, Longboat Key and Lido Key.

The Practice:

  • Collegial group of 4 Endocrinologists and 2 Physician Assistants.
  • General Endocrinology practice with robust volume in Diabetes and Thyroid.
  • Ultrasound available for thyroid scans and biopsies.
  • On site Practice Manager and supportive clinical team.
  • Press Ganey scores of 99% for patient satisfaction and experience in healthcare facilities.
  • Outpatient clinic-based position with 3 practice locations (Venice, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch) new physician will cover the Venice and Sarasota locations.
  • Oversees a daily patient volume of 16–18.
  • Strong referral volumes, new physician will ramp up quickly.
  • Dedicated team of CDEs and Registered Dietitians.
  • Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
  • 1:6 equitable call.

Qualifications:

  • Fellowship trained and Board-Certified in Endocrinology or Board-Eligible if within 3 years of completing training.
  • Licensed in the State of Florida preferred but will accept CVs from physicians interested in applying for a FL license.
