Position Overview:

Join a dynamic Emergency Department in San Antonio with 14,000 annual visits and a focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork. This opportunity is ideal for EM-trained physicians or those boarded in FM or IM with emergency experience.

ED Volume: 14,000 annual visits

ED Beds: 9

Inpatient Beds: 6

Admission Rate: 5%

Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage daily, plus APP support

Documentation: Picis

Certifications Required: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS

Qualifications:

o BC/BP in Emergency Medicine

o OR BC/BP in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

Compensation:

Base Compensation: $220-$250/hr (W2); $240-$280/hr (1099)

Sign-On Bonus: $50,000

CME/BEA: $4,000 tax-free annually

New Grad Package: $6,500 + licensing costs (state & DEA) in year one

Employment Models: W-2 and 1099 available
