Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon - UT Southwestern - Dallas/Ft. Worth

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This clinical faculty position offers a busy, diverse hand and upper extremity practice across our academic medical center and affiliated hospitals.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume surgical practice while contributing to resident and fellow education in one of the nation’s top academic health systems. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in a clinically focused academic role.


Position Highlights

  • High-volume hand surgery practice including trauma, elective procedures, microsurgery, and complex wrist, elbow, and forearm conditions.

  • Predominantly clinical role.

  • Opportunities to teach and mentor orthopaedic surgery residents and fellows.

  • Collaborate with a nationally recognized, multidisciplinary orthopaedic faculty team.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery.

  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery (Hand subspecialty certification strongly preferred).

  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

  • Commitment to clinical excellence, education, and patient-centered care.
