Orthopaedic Oncologist - UT Southwestern - Dallas/Ft. Worth

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopaedic Oncologist to join its expanding Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. This clinical faculty position offers a busy, diverse orthopaedic oncology practice across our academic medical center and affiliated hospitals.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume surgical oncology practice while contributing to resident and fellow education in one of the nation’s top academic health systems. This is an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in a clinically focused academic role.


Position Highlights

  • Comprehensive orthopaedic oncology practice including diagnosis and surgical management of musculoskeletal tumors, bone and soft tissue sarcomas, and metastatic disease.

  • Predominantly clinical role with direct patient care and operative responsibilities.

  • Opportunities to teach and mentor orthopaedic surgery residents and fellows.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology.

  • Access to advanced surgical technology, specialized oncology resources, and academic support.

  • Faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center (rank commensurate with experience and qualifications).


Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology.

  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.

  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure.

  • Strong commitment to clinical excellence, multidisciplinary care, and medical education.
