Interventional Cardiology Physician - Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital PRN

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide flexible, as-needed coverage at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, a 176-bed community hospital located in the heart of beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia.

We re looking for collegial, energetic, and highly motivated candidates who bring strong clinical expertise and a passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and team members alike.

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a well-established, collaborative cardiology team while enjoying a flexible schedule and practicing in a high-quality, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:

• PRN / As-needed coverage approximately 10 days per month

• Weekend coverage from Friday at 5 PM through Monday at 7 AM

• Responsibilities include STEMI call, inpatient consults, Cath, PCI, TEE, and image reads

• Work alongside a highly experienced team of interventional and general cardiologists, electrophysiologists plus advanced practice providers

• Access to Sentara s integrated EMR system (EPIC)

• Competitive PRN compensation

Qualifications:

• MD or DO BC/BE in Interventional Cardiology

• Active or eligible for Virginia medical licensure

• Strong clinical and communication skills
