Job Description

Carlsbad Medical Center in Carlsbad, New Mexico is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our thriving multispecialty group serving the southeastern New Mexico community.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Full-time, hospital employed position (no locums or part-time)

  • General orthopedics with some trauma, total joints, and hand
  • 1:3 call rotation with an experienced orthopedic team
  • 8 operating rooms with dedicated orthopedic block time and 24/7 anesthesia coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in orthopedic surgery
  • Completion of U.S. residency training required
  • Experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
  • Ability to perform general orthopedic procedures, including trauma and total joints
  • Eligible for New Mexico medical licensure
  • J1 visa support available
