Exciting Opportunity: Staff Physician at State Supported Living Center

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Staff Physician to join our team at the State Supported Living Center (SSLC) in El Paso. As a Staff Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and treating individuals with complex medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health needs.
  • Developing health care plans with measurable goals and overseeing their implementation.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to advocate for the medical needs of individuals served.
  • Providing direction to solve complex medical issues impacting individuals' health.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical practices and regulations.

Key Job Functions:

  • Delivering high-quality medical services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Overseeing long-term health status and chronic care of individuals.
  • Participating in treatment planning conferences and personal support team meetings.
  • Developing accurate medical documentation and reports.
  • Collaborating with the medical services department to improve services.
