Huntsville Hospital is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to join our thriving, hospital-employed practice in Huntsville, Alabama, offering state-of-the-art facilities, excellent support, and a highly competitive compensation package.

Position Highlights

  • Join a hospital-employed, well-established gastroenterology group at Huntsville Hospital
  • Current team: 4 physicians; seeking 2 additional gastroenterologists due to community growth
  • Physicians see 15–25 patients per day in clinic
  • Full range of gastroenterological procedures performed, including M2A Capsule, EUS, and ERCP
  • Group practice features 14 exam rooms located in a professional tower attached to the hospital
  • Supported by 37 full-time staff, including office manager, receptionists, RNs, and 4 NPs
  • State-of-the-art Endoscopy Lab performing over 1,200 procedures monthly
  • 24-hour in-house radiology coverage
  • Excellent payer mix with 60% Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Huntsville Hospital: 901 licensed beds, Level I Trauma Center, regional referral center for North Alabama & Southern Tennessee
  • Academic affiliation with University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine for FM & IM residency training
