Baptist Health System is seeking a board certified/board eligible, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery to join our team?in?San Antonio, Texas

As one of South Texas’ largest healthcare provider organizations, Baptist Medical Network’s team of healthcare professionals provide care in over 17 communities. The network’s highly skilled team of cardiovascular providers includes non-invasive and interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiothoracic surgeons, along with the support of highly trained physician assistants and nurse practitioners.  Join Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgical Institute of Texas.

Overview: 

  • Long-standing healthcare system with supportive leadership 
  • Robust group of over 250 providers, of which 50+ are cardiovascular focused 
  • All 3 practice locations are wing in 100 feet of the hospitals
  • Support Staff – RN and MA available, AI Scribe, Ops support team :  PSR, PM
  • Perform OP/IP, admin/meetings and procedures
  • EMR:  Athena (clinic), Cerner (hospital)  
  • Must be BC/BE in Cardiothoracic Surgery by ABTS/AOBS 
  • Welcome experienced CV/CT surgeons with heart and lung experience
  • On call rotation required, 40-hour work weeks and weekends required
