Baptist Health System is seeking a board certified/board eligible General Surgeon to practice in San Antonio, TX.

As one of South Texas’ largest healthcare provider organizations, Baptist Medical Network’s team of healthcare professionals provide care in over 17 communities.

Overview: 

  • Long-standing healthcare system with supportive leadership 
  • Standard practice support staff (MA, Nurse, Front Desk, etc.)
  • Robot Models – 2 Da Vinci XI, ERCP and 16 OR rooms
  • Anesthesia – Care Team Model (MD, CAA, CRNA)
  • EMR: Athena (clinic), Cerner (hospital) 
  • Clinic Schedule, M-F 8-5 PM, NO Weekend Clinic
  • Must be BC/BE in General Surgery Board (ABS or FACS)
  • Considering both experienced and current?fellow candidates 
  • Capable to perform: Cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Hernia Repair, Exploratory Laparotomy (all can be laparoscopic or robotic)
