Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Gastroenterologist Physician. The candidate for this position will be joining an established hospital within a strong community focused to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

Boone is currently a Magnet Hospital for its nursing excellence and has also been named the number one hospital in central Missouri and number five overall hospital in the state by U.S. News and World Report.

Practice Highlights:

  • This is a new practice with established and supportive hospital leadership looking for a candidate to build a skilled and friendly team.
  • Collaborate closely with specialists across various disciplines within the hospital, fostering a comprehensive approach to patient care and treatment planning.
  • With a need for this practice immediate patient volume can be excepted, ensuring a rewarding practice from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care.
  • Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by-laws and best practices.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
