RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health is seeking highly skilled and talented pediatric intensivists to join our newly integrated group. The partnership of RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers University, The State University of New Jersey, has created the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey. We are seeking to continue to grow and expand the care at our four acute care children’s centers as part of the largest provider of pediatric healthcare in New Jersey.

Our clinical programs include comprehensive general pediatric surgery, congenital heart surgery, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, ACS level 2 pediatric trauma, solid organ transplantation, bone marrow transplant, palliative care, pediatric sedation, pediatric ground and air transport, and extracorporeal support.

As part of Rutgers University and RWJBarnabas health, many aspects of academic endeavors can be nurtured. Our members have a wide range of non-clinical interests from global health, health equity, clinical and translational research, education, quality improvement and administration.

The right intensivists will join 23 others intensivists in a well-functioning group combining our strengths to be the collaborative bedrock of advanced pediatric care in New Jersey. We seek members who value camaraderie, adaptability and teamwork.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $260,000 to $375,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.

Requirements:

  • Board certified, board eligible in pediatric critical care
  • NJ license or eligible for licensure
  • Commitment to academic excellence including education of all members of the healthcare team
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong internal locus of control

Academic appointment and compensation are commensurate with experience and achievements. We are an EOE employer.
