Cleveland Clinic Urology is recruiting a board certified/board eligible muti-organ abdominal transplant surgeon for our kidney transplant team in Charleston Area Medical Center. Established in 1987, CAMC is the most experienced and longest standing program in West Virginia. They average seventy-five kidney transplants annually and have performed more than 1,600 total kidney transplants since program inception. The program works in affiliation with The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and the candidate will be an employee of Cleveland Clinic based in Charleston, WV. The program is comprised of experienced and knowledgeable multi-disciplinary team. The position requires an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.
The CAMC Kidney Transplant center is certified by Medicare and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) to transplant kidney for adults. CAMC has a well established Urology and General Surgery residency program and offers the opportunity to participate in teaching and research activities. Adjunct faculty appointment to West Virginia University Charleston Division is also available.
