IU Health is seeking a patient-focused Hematologist to join our Multiple Myeloma practice in Indianapolis, IN!
- Full-time employment opportunity for adult, multiple myeloma patients
- 100% clinical
- 80% outpatient / 20% inpatient
- Expected patient volume in clinic: 40/week
- Expected patient volume on inpatient: 20/week
- Monday - Friday, 12 weekends of call annually
- Practice locations include Eskenazi Hospital, University Hospital, and IU Simon Cancer Center (all part of the IU School of Medicine's Academic Health Center)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent judgement in diagnosis and treatment of patients, formulation of treatment plans, and direction of the interdisciplinary team in achieving the goals of the patient care plan
Qualifications
- MD or DO with BC in Hematology & Oncology
- Subspecialty expertise & demonstrated clinical excellence in Multiple Myeloma & plasma cell disorders
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, & collaborative skills
