Position Overview:
As a Gastroenterologist at Tryon Medical, you will provide high-quality patient care in a mix of outpatient and procedural settings. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and support staff, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and technology. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of GI conditions

• Perform endoscopic procedures in a modern ACS

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

• Participate in clinical research or educational initiatives as desired

Qualifications:

• MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Required)
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in North Carolina
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required within 90 days of employment)
