Colorectal Surgery opportunity at Palm Beach's highest rated hospital

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Colorectal Surgeon based out of the Anderson Family Cancer Institute, located on campus of the hospital in Jupiter, FL. The Colorectal Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with colorectal diseases and conditions. Daily tasks include performing colorectal surgeries, conducting endoscopic procedures, managing patient treatment plans, and collaborating with oncology and other specialty care teams to ensure comprehensive care. The Colorectal Surgeon will also be involved in patient consultations, pre-operative, and post-operative care.

General Surgery ER call, approximately 2-3x per month.  

Qualifications

Expertise in Bread and Butter Colorectal Surgery and Colorectal Cancer treatment
Proficiency in Endoscopic procedures and techniques
Strong foundation in Medicine with a focus on cancer management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Board certification in Colorectal Surgery or relevant specialty
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Join our medical oncologists, 3 APPs, 2 gynecologic oncologists, a thoracic surgeon, 2 radiation oncologists, and a surgical/hepatobiliary oncologist who all practice collaboratively in our outpatient clinic at the Anderson Family Cancer Institute.
