Job Description

Indiana University Health Medical Group in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a Movement Disorder Neurologist to join our highly skilled team at the IU Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This academic appointment includes opportunity for both research and teaching. A strong commitment to clinical teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is expected. Faculty appointment is commensurate with experience. 

Position Details:

The IU Health Neuroscience Center is designated as a Center for Excellence by the Parkinson Foundation and a Center of Excellence by the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Our number one ranked, academic health system in collaboration with Indiana University School of Medicine; the largest medical school in the country, offers many opportunities for teaching and education.

Join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach to care with support nurses, social workers, pharmacists, art therapists and more. Partner with an Active Functional Surgery program, offering DBS and Focused ultrasound, in addition to treatment of movement disorders; including essential tremor, Ataxia, Blepharospasm, Chorea, Dystonia, Essential Tremor, Gait disorders, Torticollis, and Tourette’s syndrome.  

Participate in strong clinical research and on-going clinical trials for movement disorders. Opportunity to collaborate with basic and translational researchers within the Stark Neuroscience Center as well as with researchers at IU Indianapolis, and Purdue University Indianapolis.

Qualifications:

  • Must be BE/BC in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • Movement Disorder fellowship-trained in the United States
