The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our expanding team in San Antonio, TX. This outpatient-only role emphasizes quality over volume and offers a predictable Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with no weekends or on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to adults.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Provide preventive care, screenings, and health education.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and specialists.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Stay current with continuing medical education and best practices.

Required Education

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of residency training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • Current, unrestricted Texas Medical License (or ability to obtain).
  • Board Certification in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible).
  • Current State DEA Certificate.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous medical education and staying current with advancements in family medicine.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • While the regular schedule is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, occasional evening or weekend coverage may be required to meet patient needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a value-based or managed care setting is a plus.
