Opportunity Criteria
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join our team in Corbin, Kentucky. This is a full-time, employed position offering an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice within a supportive and well-established health system.
Position Highlights
- Specialty: Gastroenterology (Advanced GI preferred)
- Practice Setting: Outpatient practice with procedures and rounds at Baptist Health Corbin Hospital
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; closed evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Flexibility: ½ administrative day weekly; option for a 4-day work week
- Team Structure: 2 experienced APPs (no physicians currently in practice)
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital: 250-bed facility
- Call: Provider takes first hospital call; centers closed on weekends
Position Benefits

Position Requirements
- MD/DO degree required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Advanced GI training preferred
- Eligible for Kentucky medical license
- Visa candidates welcome (all accepted)
