Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join our team in Corbin, Kentucky. This is a full-time, employed position offering an excellent opportunity to build a thriving practice within a supportive and well-established health system.

Position Highlights

  • Specialty: Gastroenterology (Advanced GI preferred)
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient practice with procedures and rounds at Baptist Health Corbin Hospital
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; closed evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Flexibility: ½ administrative day weekly; option for a 4-day work week
  • Team Structure: 2 experienced APPs (no physicians currently in practice)
  • EMR: Epic
  • Hospital: 250-bed facility
  • Call: Provider takes first hospital call; centers closed on weekends

Position Requirements

  • MD/DO degree required
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Advanced GI training preferred
  • Eligible for Kentucky medical license
