Job Summary:

Repair, reconstruction or replacement of physical defects of form or function involving the skin, musculoskeletal system, craniomaxillofacial structures, hands, extremities, breasts and trunk, and external genitalia. This position will be based out of the St. Paul and Woodbury Markets for our East Region.

  • Locations: United Hospital and Woodbury Clinic

  • 8-hour day shifts

  • Alternate weekend plan

  • Shared call model with United Plastic surgery partner.

Allina-employed surgeons may have an opportunity to purchase an ownership interest in Allina Health Surgery Center Partners, LLC, providing these surgeon investors with an indirect ownership interest in, and the right to receive financial returns from, Allina Health ambulatory surgery centers.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

  • Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being. 

  • Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities. 

  • Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management. 

  • Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows. 

  • May participate in peer review and quality assurance. 

Job Requirements

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required 

  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required 

  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) 

  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) 

  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable 

  • BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire

Pay Range

Pay Range: $530,000 to $630,000 per year

The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
