Bon Secours is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our growing team at St. Mary’s Hospital, a premier community-based facility with a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, NICU, and PICU. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of endocrine disorders, as well as inpatient consultations in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Outpatient Care Focus: Provide clinical management for pediatric patients with acute and chronic endocrine disorders.
Inpatient Collaboration: Consult on pediatric inpatients in partnership with pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, neonatologists, and pediatric emergency medicine physicians.
Comprehensive Support Team: Access to registered dietitians, certified diabetes educators, insulin pump trainers, pediatric outpatient infusion services, and pediatric phlebotomists.
Flexible Care Delivery: Utilize both in-person and telemedicine platforms for patient visits and emergency consults.
Call Schedule: 1:4 call rotation, Minimal after-hours calls, primarily from the Pediatric Emergency Department, Telemedicine support available for after-hours consults
Patient Load: See 10–16 pediatric patients daily in a clinic setting
Team-Based Environment: Shared inpatient and emergency consult responsibilities among providers.
