OB Hospitalist Opportunity

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Community Hospitals, with locations across eastern North Carolina, are expanding and seeking BE/BC OBGYNs to work as OB Hospitalist. The successful candidates will provide labor and delivery care at all ECU Health Community Hospitals as well as at ECU Health Medical Center. New graduates and Visa candidates are welcome to apply.

  • Growing 9-hospital physician-led healthcare system
  • Hospital privileges at all ECU Health Community Hospitals and at ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, NC
  • Opportunity to work in conjunction with ECU Health regional OBGYN providers and with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine
  • Support from a state-of-the-art children’s hospital offering 20 pediatric sub-specialties and Level IV NICU
  • Close collaboration with an established academic division that includes 11 OB-GYNs in the General OBGYN Division, 4 Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, 1 Reproductive Endocrinologist, 1 Gynecologic Oncologist, 1 Urogynecologist, and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Onsite advanced practice provider support
  • Schedule requirements will include (7) 24-hour shifts or (14) 12-hour shifts per month at an ECU Health Community Hospital of which 36 hours per quarter will be scheduled at ECU Health Medical Center to maintain clinical competency
  • Travel Stipend will be provided
  • EPIC EMR
