Deaconess Illinois Union County Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician to join our growing team. The Emergency Medicine Physician Team is a hospital employed physician group made up of full-time physicians as well as supplemental physicians.

Ideal Candidates

• BC/BE Family Medicine Physician; prior EM experience and/or fellowship training in Emergency Medicine is required.
• Licensed in Illinois (or willing to obtain licensure)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• J1 Visa candidates are welcome to apply

• Competitive Compensation: Average annual compensation of $330K ($200 per Hr)
• Sign On Bonus for 5-year commitment -$50K sign on bonus

Work Schedule:

• Shifts:12-hour shifts (Day: 7am – 7pm, Night: 7pm – 7am).
• Shift Requirements:144 shifts/year (full-time). 1728 Hours
• Patient Encounters:Average of 30-55 patient encounters in a 24 hour period
