Neurology (Per Diem) – Mount Vernon, Washington

Summary:

Skagit Regional Health is actively seeking a per diem Neurologist to help our busy outpatient clinic. Highlights:

• Thrive in a collaborative environment alongside our one (1) physician and one (1) ARNP and supportive clinical staff.
• Provider will work mainly in our outpatient clinic with minimal inpatient responsibilities.
• Shared call of 1:4 with no Stroke Call responsibilities. On-Call is primarily consultative with Stroke call handled by Tele-Stroke Neurohospitalists.
• Encounter a diverse array of neurological disorders in the clinic.
• Procedures include EMG, EEG, Botox, Trigger Point Injections and Occipital Nerve Injections.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an ACGME accredited Neurology residency program.
• Board Eligible/Board Certification required.
• Experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $225
• Malpractice insurance, including tail insurance, is fully covered!
