Hand and Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgeon - Join Our Orthopedic Surgery Team at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Oregon!

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our comprehensive orthopedic surgery team in Corvallis, Oregon. Our facility is a level II trauma center and the tertiary referral hub for five hospitals serving over 300,000 residents across the Oregon Coast and Willamette Valley.

Position Highlights

  • Employment Type: Employed position with salary based on productivity
  • Facility: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, a regional level II trauma center
  • Facilities & Resources: Access to hospital-owned ASC, main OR, onsite X-rays, hand therapy, and a WALANT procedure room
  • Support & Teaching: Strong orthopedic resident and medical student teaching environment
  • Clinic: Fully staffed Hand to Shoulder clinic with outpatient clinic and dedicated OR scheduling
  • Case Mix: The candidate will provide care from fingertips to elbow, with potential to expand scope to include shoulder conditions
  • Call: Hand call required 1 in 4, supported by orthopedic resident staff
  • Referral Network: Extensive, covering three counties and over 300,000 population
  • Collaboration: Opportunity to work with Oregon State University athletes
  • Technology: Epic EMR system
  • Team: Five mid-level providers, resident training, and medical student involvement

Ideal Candidate

  • Fellowship-trained in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery; CAQ Hands certified or eligible
  • BC/BE
  • Previous experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to team-oriented, compassionate patient care
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
