ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital, located in Tarboro, NC, are seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physician to join their Hospitalist program. New graduates and Visa candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Highlights Include:  

• Employment by ECU Health Physicians 

• Growing 9-hosptial healthcare system  

• Hospital privileges at ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital 

• 7 on 7 off Schedule -7a-7p with 2/ 7p-7a shifts every other week 

• Clinical responsibilities will include: Level II nursery, well newborn nursery, daily rounding, central line placement, thoracentesis, admissions, discharges, vent management and intubation 

• Full spectrum of specialty care support including General Cardiology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, General Surgery, Urology, Infectious Disease, Tele-Neurology, Pulmonology/Critical Care, and Tele-Psychiatry 

• 8 bed open ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends 

• Established team of 6 hospitalist  

• Anticipated Volume is 10-12 patients 

• Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to ECU Health Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC 

• System-wide integrated EMR—EPIC
