FAQ: 1. What is my Service Obligation? 2. How much is the Grant?

This comprehensive program offers financial relief during your residency, career stability after graduation, and the satisfaction of serving a mission-driven purpose.

What is the Financial Assistance Program (FAP)?

The FAP is designed to provide significant financial support during your residency, ensuring you can focus on your education without the added stress of financial concerns.

FAP Benefits During Residency:

  • $45,000 Annual Grant — Paid directly to you
  • $2,999 Monthly Stipend — Paid directly to you

If Approved for FAP Grant:

  • Annual Compensation During Residency                                                (Hospital Pay/Salary) + 45k + 3k monthly =  Hospital Paycheck + 81k
  • For example if your PGY2 Year Annual Salary is 60k then you would get    60k+ 81k = 141k Total Annual Compensation, as a PGY2.
