POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

- Serve a vibrant and diverse multilingual patient population.
- Address the social determinants of health in our community and provide excellent, evidence-based, compassionate, trauma-sensitive care that meets the medical, developmental and emotional needs of families.
- Deliver comprehensive education to pediatric residents, medical students and other learners in a setting that models excellent and innovative population-based care to promote health equity through community. Faculty appointment to UMass-Chan Baystate.
- Participate in and/or lead oversight of the care of medically complex children, supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team. Our Division participates in MassHealth’s Coordinating Aligned, Relationship-centered, Enhanced Support (CARES) for Kids program.
- Baystate Children’s Hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 107-beds and includes the region’s only PICU and NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient services, child life specialists, a designated 24-hour pediatric ED and services from 11 pediatric subspecialties, pediatric surgery and child psychiatry.
- Qualifications: ABMS board certified pediatrics. Candidates with significant experience may be considered for the role of Medical Director of Complex Care.
- The compensation range listed below represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum= $187,900. Maximum= $315,000.
