Cape Fear Valley Behavioral Health, one of the largest comprehensive behavioral health providers in North Carolina, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Addictionologist (Psychiatrist) to join our dedicated team. Our mission is to meet and respond to the mental health needs of our community by offering evidence-based, best-practice treatments in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary setting.

About the Position:
Provide specialized psychiatric care for patients with substance use disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Work alongside a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, psychiatric nurses, and licensed professional counselors.
Develop and implement treatment plans using evidence-based approaches to addiction medicine.
Collaborate with primary care providers, community organizations, and behavioral health specialists to ensure continuity of care.
Supervise and mentor medical students and residents, with opportunities for a Core Faculty role in the Psychiatric Residency Program if desired.

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Psychiatry
Fellowship training or board certification in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry preferred
Eligibility for North Carolina medical licensure
