Job Description:
- Evaluate and manage a wide variety of patients with diseases related to the cardiovascular system.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and inflammatory heart disease.
- Perform physical exams and order tests, including electrocardiograms (EKG), echocardiograms, and exercise stress tests.
- Study diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making a diagnosis.
- Perform procedures, including, but not limited to, diagnostic heart catheterizations.
- Prescribe appropriate interventions, therapies, medications, and other treatment modalities.
- Collect, record, and maintain details of patients’ histories, physical examinations, diagnostic test results, assessments, management plans, and treatment outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Medical degree or equivalent; completion of residency in Internal Medicine; completion of fellowship in Cardiology; must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine; must have a valid Arkansas medical license.
