AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Adolescent Medicine Physician to join our growing team in Central Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized children’s hospital and contribute to the expansion of a comprehensive adolescent medicine program, including our newly opened continuity clinic on Fairbanks Avenue.

Position Highlights

  • Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, psychologists, social workers, and subspecialists
  • Provide outpatient consultative care for adolescents and young adults with a wide range of medical and psychosocial concerns including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and sexual health
  • Inpatient responsibilities focused exclusively on eating disorder consultations, supported by 24/7 pediatric hospitalist and psychiatry teams
  • Opportunity to develop specialty clinics based on interests (e.g., reproductive health, mental health, substance use)
  • Participate in teaching medical students and residents through AdventHealth’s robust GME programs
  • Work closely with the Pediatric GME Faculty as part of a collaborative academic environment
  • Administrative time included as Core Faculty with GME Physician designation
  • Shared call coverage for clinic with excellent work-life balance
  • Practice locations include AdventHealth for Children and our Fairbanks Avenue clinic in Winter Park

Candidate Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Adolescent Medicine Fellowship (required)
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
  • Open to new residents or fellows
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with adolescents and their families
  • Interest in academic medicine, medical education, and program development is a plus
