City of Hope a leading network of cancer hospitals and outpatient centers, is seeking an outstanding Board Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care physician who is fellowship trained in Interventional Pulmonology to join our esteemed team in Zion, IL (north of Chicago). We offer a collaborative, patient-focused environment dedicated to transforming healthcare by integrating cutting-edge research and compassionate care.

  • Our licensed 73-bed cancer center, located in Zion, IL, also has outpatient clinics in Morton Grove and downtown Chicago. 
  • Clinical responsibilities include providing and supervising patient care in both the outpatient clinic and inpatient services, managing postoperative care at the Zion campus, and performing bronchoscopy procedures. 
  • Academic appointments will be offered commensurate with experience and training. 
  • The successful candidate will join an experienced Interventional Pulmonary & Critical Care physician and collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team. 
  • The position follows a 7-on / 7-off day-shift schedule, with minimal overnight coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)   
  • Satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship-ACGME accredited program. 
  • Board Certification: Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology and Critical Care medicine. 
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain Illinois Medical License prior to start date.
