Exciting Locum Physician Opportunity in Emergency Medicine - Cambridge, OH

Are you a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician seeking a flexible and rewarding locum role? We are currently seeking a highly skilled physician to provide essential coverage for nights and weekends in Cambridge, Ohio. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced setting with an annual ED volume of approximately 24,500 to 25,500 patients, including an average of 55-60 patients daily. Shifts are 12 hours long, covering nights and weekends, with the opportunity to work at both O'Bleness and Cambridge sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to excellent patient care.

Required skills include:

• Current and unrestricted medical license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Proven experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MediTech EMR or similar systems

Nice to have skills:

• Experience working at multiple sites
• Familiarity with transfer procedures to facilities such as Riverside, Grant, Genesis, OSU, or Aultman
• Previous locum or emergency department staffing experience

Preferred education and experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5+ years of emergency medicine practice
• Availability to credential within 45-60 days of start date

Other requirements:

• Willingness to work both day and night shifts, including weekends
• Credentialing process completion within approximately 45-60 days
• Travel arrangements to be coordinated through OVP; all travel must be booked through us
• No overtime hours expected; physician conversion fee capped at $18,000-$20,000
• No agency posting or advertising rates allowed in repostings
