Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology Physician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician with specialization in Hematology and Oncology to join our esteemed team in Eureka, California. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive medical care to patients with complex hematological and oncological conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of hematology and oncology conditions, developing personalized treatment plans in accordance with current guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and review of diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols as necessary, and provide ongoing patient education and support.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and continuing medical education to stay current with advances in the field.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts within the department.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine; specialization in Hematology and Oncology preferred.
  • Valid medical license to practice in California.
  • Proven experience in hematology and oncology clinical practice is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
