Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of interventional procedures including diagnostics and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide emergent care for STEMI patients on a 24-hour call basis via beeper, ensuring rapid response and treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient interactions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology and integrate evidence-based practices.

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and certification in cardiology.
• Proven experience in performing interventional cardiology procedures.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently and professionally.
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced imaging techniques and newer interventional technologies.
• Prior involvement in research or clinical trials related to cardiology.
• Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in interventional cardiology.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with high-volume cases.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for 24-hour on-call STEMI rotation, using beeper communication.
• Flexibility to potentially transition to permanent placement.
• Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and continuing medical education requirements.
