We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Anesthesiologist to support our hospital-based surgical teams from March 1 to July 31, 2026. This role offers a dynamic schedule with varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, contributing to crucial patient outcomes in a Level II trauma setting. Required Skills

• Active New Jersey medical license
• Board certification in Anesthesiology
• Proven experience with general surgical cases, IV regional, plexus, spinal, and regional anesthesia techniques
• Proficiency in ventilation management and complex vascular cases
• Ability to perform TEE, PA catheter placement, arterial, and central line insertions
• Strong supervision skills for CRNAs
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including night and weekend call

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in open-heart and thoracic anesthesia
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Prior locum or locum-to-perm practice experience
• Knowledge of trauma protocols and emergency response procedures

Preferred Education and Experience

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of anesthesiology residency program
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting, preferably in cardiac or complex vascular anesthesia

Other Requirements

• Must hold current NJ medical license and certification
• Willingness to work flexible shifts based on surgical scheduling and hospital needs
• Ability to obtain credentials within 45-60 days
• Willingness to travel and stay in affiliated accommodations; travel expenses reimbursed
