Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Cardiac Anesthesiology – Galloway, NJ

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Anesthesiologist to support our hospital-based surgical teams from March 1 to July 31, 2026. This role offers a dynamic schedule with varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, contributing to crucial patient outcomes in a Level II trauma setting. Required Skills
- Active New Jersey medical license
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Proven experience with general surgical cases, IV regional, plexus, spinal, and regional anesthesia techniques
- Proficiency in ventilation management and complex vascular cases
- Ability to perform TEE, PA catheter placement, arterial, and central line insertions
- Strong supervision skills for CRNAs
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including night and weekend call
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in open-heart and thoracic anesthesia
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Prior locum or locum-to-perm practice experience
- Knowledge of trauma protocols and emergency response procedures
Preferred Education and Experience
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of anesthesiology residency program
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting, preferably in cardiac or complex vascular anesthesia
Other Requirements
- Must hold current NJ medical license and certification
- Willingness to work flexible shifts based on surgical scheduling and hospital needs
- Ability to obtain credentials within 45-60 days
- Willingness to travel and stay in affiliated accommodations; travel expenses reimbursed
