Required Skills
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid state medical license and DEA license in Texas
- Board certification oreligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric privileges
- Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including labor, delivery, and postpartum management
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous locum tenens experience
- Certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual skills or multilingual capabilities
Preferred Education and Experience
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience or relevant inpatient obstetrics practice
- Current Texas medical license in good standing
Other Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotations
- Compliance with hospital policies and protocols
- Willingness to travel to Baytown, TX, as needed; travel reimbursements may apply
- Maintains current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP as required
