Required Skills

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid state medical license and DEA license in Texas
• Board certification oreligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine with obstetric privileges
• Proven experience in obstetric inpatient care, including labor, delivery, and postpartum management
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently in a hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills

• Previous locum tenens experience
• Certification in neonatal resuscitation (NRP)
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Bilingual skills or multilingual capabilities

Preferred Education and Experience

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience or relevant inpatient obstetrics practice
• Current Texas medical license in good standing

Other Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call rotations
• Compliance with hospital policies and protocols
• Willingness to travel to Baytown, TX, as needed; travel reimbursements may apply
• Maintains current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP as required
