Required Skills:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric experience
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
- Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist practices
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Trauma or complication management experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Residency trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist experience in obstetrics
- Prior success working in hospital settings with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on or around 12/31/2025
- Willingness to commit to the scheduled shifts and maintain flexibility
- Must hold or be eligible for licensure and certifications necessary for practicing in Texas
- Travel and licensure reimbursement when applicable
