Required Skills:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric experience
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Proven experience in obstetric hospitalist practices
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
• BLS and NRP certifications
• Trauma or complication management experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Residency trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Family Medicine
• Minimum of 2 years of hospitalist experience in obstetrics
• Prior success working in hospital settings with diverse patient populations

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on or around 12/31/2025
• Willingness to commit to the scheduled shifts and maintain flexibility
• Must hold or be eligible for licensure and certifications necessary for practicing in Texas
• Travel and licensure reimbursement when applicable
